1. Overview

IntentCast ("we", "us") provides a tool that finds public Reddit, Quora and forum discussions where your content is relevant and drafts replies you can post yourself. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices. It applies to getintentcast.com and the IntentCast web application.

2. Information we collect

We collect the keyword inputs, URLs, and topics you submit for analysis, along with your account details and the usage analytics needed to operate and improve the service. Inputs are transmitted over encrypted connections and stored against your account only.

• Account data: email address and authentication credentials.
• Keyword inputs: keywords, URLs, and topics you submit for research.
• Usage data: pages viewed, searches run, and feature interactions.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, and device information collected by our hosting and analytics providers.

3. How we use information

We use your information to deliver requested results, communicate about your account, improve the product, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal data.

4. Service providers

We share information with vendors who process data on our behalf so we can run the service — for example hosting and database infrastructure, email delivery, payment processing, and product analytics. These providers may only use the data to provide services to us. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our rights.

5. Using IntentCast in AI assistants

When you connect IntentCast to an AI assistant such as Claude or ChatGPT, the assistant sends us only what you ask it to search (a URL or topic) and requests for your search results, search list and credit balance. We do not receive or store your conversation with the assistant. Sign-in uses OAuth: we never see your assistant account password, and you can disconnect at any time by removing the connector in your assistant. Searches made through an assistant are stored in your IntentCast account like any other search. To create search queries and draft replies, we send the URL or topic and the text of public pages to our AI and search service providers, who process it only to provide the service.

6. Publicly available content

IntentCast summarises aggregate topics and links from publicly accessible discussions indexed by search engines. We do not collect private messages or content behind logins, and we do not build profiles of individual people.

7. Cookies

We use cookies and similar storage to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and measure aggregate usage. You can block or delete cookies in your browser, though some parts of the service may stop working correctly.

8. Data retention & security

We retain account and usage data for as long as your account is active, and for a limited period afterwards where needed for legal, accounting, or dispute-resolution purposes. We use access controls, encrypted connections, and row-level database permissions to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. Email privacy@getintentcast.com and we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. You may also unsubscribe from marketing email at any time using the link in each message.

10. International transfers & children

Our providers may process data in countries other than your own, using appropriate safeguards for such transfers. IntentCast is a business tool and is not directed to children under 16; we do not knowingly collect their data.
