Use IntentCast in Claude and ChatGPT
What it does
IntentCast finds the best live threads for you to answer with your YouTube video, article or product page, on Reddit, Quora, Stack Exchange, Facebook groups and product forums, and drafts a reply for each one. Inside Claude or ChatGPT you just ask for it in plain words. You read the drafts, edit them and post them yourself. IntentCast never posts anything.
Connect
- Connector URL:
https://app.getintentcast.com/mcp - Claude: Customize → Connectors → Add custom connector → paste the URL → Connect. Sign in to IntentCast (Google or email) and click Approve.
- You need an IntentCast account. Each search uses 1 credit, the same as in the web app. New accounts get 1 free search.
What you can ask
- "Find threads for https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=..."
- "Find threads where my article https://... is the answer"
- "Find threads about <topic>"
- "Show my recent IntentCast searches"
- "How many IntentCast credits do I have?"
The 4 tools
- find_threads: starts a search (uses 1 credit) and returns a search id right away.
- get_results: gets the threads and drafts. A search takes 20 to 60 seconds; your assistant checks back automatically.
- list_searches: lists your recent searches.
- get_credits: shows your credits left.
Good to know
- Every search is also saved in your web app history at app.getintentcast.com.
- Drafts are suggestions. Read each thread's rules before posting. If a reply includes your link, say that you made the content.
- Many forums need a free account and may not allow links. Company help forums usually remove promotion of other products. Each result tells you.
